2. The data we collect and how we use it

Contact form

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, subject and message, and use them only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. Messages are delivered to us by email through our email provider, Postmark. We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up.

Hosting

This website, its downloads and our self-hosted videos are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the IP address and browser details of each request in order to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. It does not set cookies for this, and we do not use this information to identify you.

3. Cookies and analytics

We only use analytics cookies if you agree to them. With your consent we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages, films and resources are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Trailers from Vimeo and YouTube only load when you press play. When they do, those services may set their own cookies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo’s do-not-track option.

4. Your legal rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact our data privacy manager at [email protected].

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (ico.org.uk). We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO, so please contact us in the first instance.
